Habitat for Humanity
At QBE LMI we genuinely care about giving back to our community. We actively work to be a responsible corporate member of society.
With this in mind, our relationship with Habitat for Humanity Australia complements the goal at the heart of our own organisation, making home ownership possible for more people.
Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit organisation providing affordable housing for low-income families in need. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 200,000 houses in over 100 countries. A Habitat house is completed somewhere in the world every twenty-four minutes.
QBE LMI is a foundation sponsor of Habitat for Humanity in Australia building on a relationship that began in 2001. In that time we have been proud to help families in need across Australia, opening up new hope and opportunities for them. The long-term goal for our involvement is to build at least one Habitat home in each state of Australia per year.
In Australia, QBE LMI provides more than financial support to Habitat for Humanity. All employees of QBE LMI are encouraged to literally lend a hand and help build Habitat homes.

The award recognised QBE LMI's commitment to helping families in need to realise their dream of home ownership through our involvement with Habitat for Humanity Australia.
