MFAA National Convention 2009

From 3-5 June the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre played host to the annual MFAA National Convention.

As proud Diamond Sponsors to this years forum, QBE LMI took to the stand for the first time since QBE’s acquisition of PMI Mortgage Insurance Ltd late last year.

QBE LMI representatives were on hand to answer delegate and customer questions and queries, discussing all manners of the current state of the property market.

As usual, giveaways proved extremely popular among delegates who walked away with smiling lmiADVANTAGE™ piggy banks – swine flu excluded of course!

Our major prize – a fully equipped BOSE 3.2.1 DVD system valued at $1,299 RRP was won by Murray Katz from Centric Wealth. Thanks to everyone who entered and took part.

Described as 'one of the highlights of the MFAA', the QBE LMI Industry Leaders Dinner was a major talking point of the convention.

Situated at the spectacular Q-Deck - the highest point on the Gold Coast at 230m into the sky, the event was a great success as guests dined at one of the Gold Coast 's hottest bars while being entertained by the mellow vocal tones of Zion and the outrageous wit of comedian Clint Paddison.

Overall a fantastic time was had by all.
